TikTok Shop Creator Scout is a read-only browser extension. It only reads the publicly visible creator profile and video pages that you open yourself. It never injects into, accesses, or modifies any seller backend or account system. It never automatically performs actions, posts, messages, or clicks anything on your behalf, and it never reads your login session, cookies, or authenticated account state.2. Data we store
All data lives locally in your browser's chrome.storage.local. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. Stored items include:
Your Pro/Free plan flag and (if entered) license key.
Your chosen "My category" setting used for fit scoring.
Creators you manually Save to your collection
(public handle, display name, extracted public stats, and the on-device fit score).
A daily counter for the free scan limit.3. Data we do NOT collect
We do not collect your name, email, payment details, browsing history (beyond the current tab you opened), login credentials, or any personally identifiable information. The extension has no remote servers and no analytics/telemetry.4. Third-party payments
Pro upgrades are processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your card details. Your license key is generated by the payment provider and stored locally on your device only.5. How the extension works
The extension displays information based on the publicly visible content of the creator pages you choose to open. Metrics such as follower counts, estimated GMV, category inferences, and fit scores are calculated locally on your device and are intended as a first-pass filter to help you identify creators worth further review.6.
